BUZZ/JESSIE THO

It bothered me kinda that Buzz and Jessie fell in love in this movie even though she was sort of presented as Woody’s soulmate in Toy Story 2 (though Buzz was into her then too). But the more I thought about it the more clever it is. Woody has the strongest relationship with Andy (/God) of anyone, and shipping Buzz and Jessie basically detaches both of them from Woody so it’s more about Woody and Andy, in the end, than Woody and Buzz or Woody and Jessie. Really smart writing. Also like. WHAT THE FUCK. This is probably the most fucked scene in a Disney movie since Mufasa falling into the stampede.

Uh.. Woody has always been with Bo Peep. Buzz & Jessie WAS set up in Toy Story 2.
